I designed a DIY 12VDC Powerbank for a telescope. After trying 6 "18650 3500 mAh" batteries from Amazon that measured at about 1300 mAh each, I purchased 6 Samsung 3500 mAh batteries from 18650BATTERYSTORE. These tested at about 3300 mAh each, providing me with the 6600 mAh capacity that I needed! The amazing thing is the price per battery was the same as Amazon (+ shipping). I am very satisfied with these batteries.

I use these in a couple of lower powered radios that I have. The 8A, 3500 mAh power limit is perfect for my use. If you are designing power banks, keep the 8A current rating in mind. I would not recommend using these in vapes.
